This song is actually one of my favorites, it reminds of what it could be like to one day be with the love of my life and act silly, young love, in love and careless. Spinning on some old dance floor acting like we have never met before with fun dialogue and pretending to be someone else curtsying at each other pretending to have manners.
Part of the chorus goes a bit like this " you're the rock to roll" "you're good for my soul is true"
Like peas and carrots or salt and pepper, one thing that complement the other.Being or having those things that cheer up the soul, or feed the soul of life's goodness, like being complete.
This song is the cheesy rendition of the common saying Head over Heels ( this has a definition of madly in love) I can then only assume that the title Head over Boots would be the country definition of the same.
I always wonder what ill be doing one day when I'm older, I wonder if ill ever get to see love in color and motion, will it appear or will I find it someday.

Cheesy to say but this song just gets me in the mood to sing and think about the little things we don't appreciate now but will one day be doing and not be aware it.
